Whenever the class is tuning, sight-reading, rehearsing or performing a learned work, the student is expected to be quiet, attentive and participating to the best of his or her ability.
The Students will receive one 100-point daily participation grade per 9 week term.
The students will receive one 100-point grade for each concert or performance that occurs during the semester.
Students missing a concert with no excuse will receive 0 points for that concert.
Students who miss a concert or performance with a valid excuse will receive 90 points.
The students will have a written final each semester, which will count a percentage of the semester grade as per school board policy.
